Is This God's Organization?

after 50 yrs in, 25 as some type of servant in responsible position, i am beginning to wonder.. .
to me, gods organization should be exactly what the bible says.

You make a choice every time you dress up and go to a meeting, or field circus since some are thinking of you re-qualifying. You must be going to most meetings and at least turn in your 10 hrs a month, you are making a choice each and every time you do these activities. If you are going to wait until things change, I hope you are a very patient person because nothing is going to change soon. If you don't believe in it, why continue?

by IMHO inwhy are the sessions so long?.
most experts in business training, seminars or conferences will tell you the length of time someone can concentrate and take in information is a lot less than the 2-3hr session you get at conventions.. although i'm sure the convention planners believe standing to sing a song (and having to remain standing for announcements) is considered a break..

The watchtower decision makers think that sitting and listening all day is relaxion. When you get to a hotel at night, you are supposed to recite interesting points from the day, go eat with your convention badges and siut or dress still on, and then play bible games if you still have time, because you are supposed to be in bed by 8:00 PM to get a good nights sleep to be prepared for the next days repeat bore fest.

Auchwitz Video
by man in black inthis was on the news last night, it seems many people are having a hard time figuring out how to deal with it.. the man in the middle is a survivor of this camp, and he is surrounded by his children/grandschildren/great-grandchildren.
is this video an insult to the people who died at aushwitz, or a celebration that life went on for the survivors ??.
personally, i look at it 50 - 50, but a more time appropriate song might have been a more positive thing.

Pops was a little out of step in most of the video, but good for him and his family. I am sure that there are thousands of other familys that did not make it out from the camps alive wish that they could do the same.

this guy was a former bethelite, and very much a company man.
a friend of mine switched congs because he believed(and rightly so) that this elder had it in for him.

Ray Franz has had a stroke
by coffee_black injust setting the record straight.
there is another thread that notes a claim on wiki that said that ray has died.. he had a stroke yesterday, and is in the hospital.
he is still alive.

UNITED NATIONS CHARTER read in all congregations at beginning of SPECIAL TALK
by Life is now inthen 1 thessalonians 5 read about 'peace and security'.
the speakers instructed not to embellish the statements.. 'noble sentiments' was mentioned about the un charter but no criticism.. followed by the need for god's kingdom.. it sounded more like an advert for the un to me.
did anyone else hear it?
